Consent Agenda: a) Invoices To Be Paid - see attached. b) Approve Acquisition of Park Equipment attached Staff report. see c) Approve Fire Department Resolution 88-44 A Resolution Authorizing the City of Prior Lake to Participate in a Scott County Disaster Training Program. Chief Mertens has requested that this Resolution be approved and that the City participate in this program see attached Resolution. d) Award Bid For Pleasant Street Construction, Project 88-20 and Approve Resolution 88-43 - a Resolution accepting Bid of Prior Lake Aggregates for Project 88-20 see attached Staff report. e) Approve Resolution 88-45 Authorizing Assessment Hearing for Project 87-18 North Shore Oaks - and Resolution 88-46 Declaring Cost to be Assessed and Ordering Preparation of Proposed Assessment for Project 87-18 North Shore Oaks - see attached Staff report. PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA 55372 f) Approve Resolution 88-47 Authorizing Assessment Hearing for Project 88-20 Pleasant street: and Resolution 88-48 Declaring Cost to be Assessed, and Ordering Preparation of Proposed Assessment for Project 88-20 - see attached staff report. g) Approve $100 contribution to Prior Lake Jays Baseball Association - The Jays are once again representing the City of Prior Lake at the 1988 state Amateur Baseball Tournament. John Murray, Treasurer of the Prior Lake Jays Baseball Association, has written a letter of thanks to the City for their past support, and has requested that the City continue its tradition of providing $100 to athletic teams representing the City at state level competition. staff recommends a donation of $100 to the Prior Lake Jays Baseball Association. (A copy of Murray's letter is attached for your information). 4. Consider variance Appeal of Ardis Berg see attached staff report. 5. Discuss School Board Letter of July 28 City Manager Unmacht will discuss the letter and the information gathered by staff during research. It is the intent of Staff that after Council discussion on the issue, a letter be prepared and forwarded to the School Board with our response. 8:00 p.m. 6. Public Hearing on Municipal Budget a public hearing will be conducted for the purpose of reviewing the 1989 Budget at the September 6, 1988 Council Meeting. This hearing gives the public an opportunity to comment and make suggestions regarding the budget for the City of Prior Lake. 7. Consider City of Prior Lake Composting Program see attached Staff report. 8.
