6. School District Bond Referendum steering ~ttee - The School
District Bond Referendum Steering ~ttee Chairman, Dan
Milligan, contacted Staff several weeks ago to request to be on
the October 5, 1987 Council meeting ageooa to discuss the upcoming
School District 13000 Referendum. Milligan has requested to be on
the ageooa to discuss the refereooum with the City Council am to
review the issues with regard to the referendum.

8. Prior lake 2000 Presentation - A Prior Lake 2000 Public Hearing
was held on Moooay, septanber 21, 1987. steering Camnittee
Chairman John Fitzgerald reviewed various sections of the document
and began the public hearing by analyzing each individual section
of the Report. Councilnember Fitzgerald reviewed the values of
Econanic Base, Education, Housing, Human services, Natural
Resources, and Neighborhoods. '!be discussion lasted approximately
one hour and at 9: 00 p.m. the public hearing was continued until
Moooay, October 5. The purpose of this ageooa itan is to continue
the analysis of the Prior Lake 2000 project. staff has oontacted
members of the Prior Lake 2000 Project and other ooncemed
citizens who may have interest in the ranaining values to be
analyzed. '!he ranaining Values to be reviewed are Parks and
Recreation, Pride, QJa1ity of Life, Size of Camnunity, SUH;X>rt
Services and Transp:>rtation. 'IWo main sections of the document
that may be reviewed include Imp1anentation and Prior Lake 2000
Survey Report. Upon completion of discussion on each Value and
reviewing the ranaining portions of the document, Council will be
requested to take action to begin the imp1anentation component of
the Prior Lake 2000 Report. Details on the imp1anentation
component will be presented by Councilnernber John Fitzgerald at
the meeting.
9. Approve North Shore oaks 5th Addition Final Plat - see attached
staff report.
