CALL TO ORDER 7:30 p.m.

3. Consent Agenda:
a) Invoices To Be Paid - see attached.
b) Consider Approval of Fire Department Relief
Association Request Attached are two
documents. The first document is the Office
of the state Auditor Firefighters Relief
Association Reporting Form for the year ending
December 31, 1988. The second document is the
Prior Lake Fire Department Relief Association
Report of the financial condition to the end
of 1989 and requirements for 1990. This item
is being presented to you because the City
Council must approve the Fire Department's
level of Pension Benefit. Prior Lake Fire
Department financial statements indicate that
an annual pension level of $1,650.00 ($250.00
more than the existing level) can be financed
at the current projections. staff has no
problem with this request. staff does not
foresee an increase in the annual
apportionment from the general fund with this
request. The current Citr contribution is
$9,000 and will not change ln the 1990 budget.
Approval of the pension level increase from
$1,400.00 per year to $1,650.00 per year as
part of the Consent Agenda would be in order.
c) Consider Approval of P.L.A.Y. One Day Gambling
Permit The P.L.A.Y. organization has
requested a permit to conduct a one day raffle
event as a fund raising activity to be held on
Sunday, July 16, 1989. A check for $10.00 has
been received. A motion as part of the
Consent Agenda is in order.
d) Consider approval of Recommendation on SCADA
System - see attached Staff report.
e) Consider Approval of NATS Recommendation on
opt Out of MTC - see attached Staff report.

4. Recognize citizens
A. The purpose of this item is to recognize the
Highway 13 Safety Poster Contest winners with
the presentation of a certificate of
Appreciation. The contest was sponsored
jointly by the City of Prior Lake and the
optimists Club. The Optimist Club gave $10.00
to the two first place winners and $5.00 to
the two second ~lace winners. Contest winners
and their familles have been invited to the
City Council meeting to acce~t their
certificate of Appreciation. The Wlnners of
the contest are as follows:

Division Fourth thru Seventh Grade:

2nd Place Eddie Rustan
B. The Prior Lake Garden Club has ~lanted and
maintained the flower bed at Memorlal Park for
the past several rears. The purpose of this
item is to recognlze the Garden Club for their
participation in the planting of flowers at
Memorial Park in preparation for the Memorial
Day Ceremony. Mayor Andren will present a
certificate of Appreciation to the Club. The
names of those members who participated in the
planting this year will be entered into the
minutes. They are:
