For a Gambllng Permit to Conduct a Raffle On
October 17, 1989 at the VFW - The Church of
st. Catherine's has requested a gambling
permit to conduct a raffle for their annual
fund raising event which will be held at the
VFW in Prior Lake. Attached is their letter
of request and a copy of their application. A
motion as part of the consent agenda would be
in order.

Executive Summary regarding property tax plans
proposed by Governor Perpich.

a) Update on Info/Expo - Assistant City Manager
Schmudlach will Discuss plans for the City's
participation in this annual event. The
Info/Expo will be held on Monday, September 11
at the Senior High School.
b) Minnesota Lake Management Conference October 2
and 3 - Attached is a registration form for
the Conference. Please complete and return to
City Hall if rou are interested in attending,
or call the Clty Manager's office.
c) Update on Shakopee Bypass Progress - Assistant
City Manager Schmudlach will discuss results
of the Transportation Study Board's public
hearing held on Tuesday, August 8, 1989 and
details of the Transportation Coalition's
meeting on August 16.
