RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR PROJECT NO. 90-12

WHEREAS, ~ursuant to an advertisement for
lmprovement of the following streets:
1. Toronto Avenue from Tower street to Trunk Highway

3. Realignment and extension of Duluth Avenue to the
new alignment of Tower Street and vine Street.
by the installation of storm sewer, grading, aggregate base,
concrete curb and gutter, bituminous surfacing, sidewalk,
bikeway, lighting, and appurtenant work; bids were received,
opened, and tabulated according to law, and the following bids
were received complying with the advertisement:

AND WHEREAS, it appears that Brown & Cris, Incor~orated
of Lakeville, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bldder.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF
PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA, that
1. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to enter
into the attached contract with Brown & Cris, Incorporated
of Lakeville, Minnesota in the name of the City of Prior
Lake for the improvement of the following streets contingent
upon Minnesota Department of Transportation State Aid Office
plan approval:
l. Toronto Avenue from Tower Street to Trunk Highway 13.
2. Realignment of Vine street and Tower Street between CSAH
23 and Toronto Avenue.

3. Realignment and extension of Duluth Avenue to the new

by the installation of storm sewer, grading, aggregate base,
concrete curb and gutter, bituminous surfacing, sidewalk,
bikeway, lighting, and appurtenant work; according to the
plans and specifications therefore approved by the City
Council and on file in the office of the City Manager.
2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to return
forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids,
except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the
next two lowest bidders shall be retained until a contract
has been signed.
Passed and adopted this 16 th day of July, 1990.
