RESOLUTION OF THE PRIOR LAKE CITY COUNCIL
APPROVING REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT NO. 2 pLAN

WHEREAS, the prior Lake Economic Development Authority (the
"Authority"), l?ursuant to Resolution No. 90-13 approved
the city of Prlor Lake, Minnesota, Economic Development
Authority Redevelopment project Plan dated February 20,
1990 (the "Plan"); and

the Authority has transmitted the plan
resolution, has applied to the city council
of Prior Lake, Minnesota (the "city"), for
the plan; and
it is desirable and in the public interest that the city
undertake and carry out the plan pursuant to Minnesota
statutes, section 469.001 to 469.047, encompassing the
area which is more particularlY described on Exhibit A
attached hereto and made a part hereof, (which area is
herein called the "city of prior Lake, Minnesota,
Economic Development Authority Redevelopment project" or
the "project"); and

RESOLUTION OF THE PRIOR LAKE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
APPROVING REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT NO. 2 pLAN

WHEREAS, the city council of the city of prior Lake, Minnesota
(the "city"), established the Prior Lake Economic
Development Authority (the "Authority") which has the
powers contained in Minnesota statutes, section 469.090
to 469.108, the powers of a housing and redevelopment
authority under Minnesota statutes, sections 469.001 to
469.047 or other law, and the powers of a city under
Minnesota statutes, sections 469.124 to 469.134 or other
law; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable and in the public interest that the
Authority undertake and carryout establishment to a
redevelopment plan pursuant to Minnesota statutes,
sections 469.001 to 469.047, encompassing the area which
is more particularly described on Exhibit A attached
hereto and make a part hereof, (which area is herein
called "city of prior Lake, Minnesota, Economic
Development Authority Redevelopment project" or the
"project"); and
WHEREAS, the Authority has reviewed "city of
Minnesota, Economic Development Authority
project Plan, dated February 20, 1990,"
which sets forth a redevelopment plan for
and
pursuant to Minnesota statutes, section 469.027, the
city's planning commission has been consulted with
concerning the establishment of the project and adoption
of the Plan; and
prior Lake,
Redevelopment
(the "Plan"),
the project;
WHEREAS,
WHEREAS,
pursuant to Minnesota statutes, section 469.028, Subd.
1 the Authority after determination that the project
should be undertaken shall apply to the city for
approval of said Plan; and
WHEREAS, there was presented to this meeting of the Authority for
its consideration and approval a copy of the Plan.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the prior Lake
Development Authority, as follows:

PRIOR LAKE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY RESOLUTION NO. 90-02
The boundaries of the City of Prior Lake, Minnesota, Economic
Development Authority Redevelopment Project are identified as
follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the northwest right-of-way
line of Trunk Highway 13 and the south right-of-way line of
170th street; thence northeasterly along said northwest
right-of-way line of Trunk Highway 13 to an intersection with
the west right-of-wa~ line of Duluth Avenue; thence north
along said west rlght-of-way line of Duluth Avenue an
intersection with the north ri~ht-of-way line of Anna Trail;
thence east along said north rl~ht-of-way line of Anna Trail
continuing to an intersection wlth the west right-of-way line
of Brunswick Avenue; thence south along said west
right-of-way line of Brunswick Avenue to an intersection with
the north boundary line of the Colonial Estates Subdivisions
to an intersection with the east boundary line of Parcel #
25-902-042-0; thence south along said east boundary line of
Parcel # 25-902-042-0 and continuin~ south to an intersection
with the south section line of Sectlon 2, Townshi~ 114, Range
22; thence west along said south section 11ne to an
intersection with the northwest right-of-way line of Trunk
Highway 13 and there terminating.

The boundaries of the City of Prior Lake, Minnesota, Economic
Development Authority Redevelopment Project are identified as
follows:

continuing south to an intersection with the south section
line of Section 2, Township 114, Range 22; thence West along
said south section line to an intersection with the northwest
right-of-way line of Trunk Highway 13 and there terminating.

That the land in the Project area would not be made
available for redevelopment without the financial
aid to be sought.
That the Redevelopment Plan for the Project area
will afford maximum op~ortunity, consistent with
sound needs of the clty as a whole, for the
redevelopment of the such area by private
enterprise.
That is it hereby found and determined that the
Redevelopment Plan for the Project area set forth
in the Plan booklet conforms to the general plan
for the development of the City as a whole.
That the City Council of the City of Prior Lake,
Minnesota does hereby approve the Plan as presented
in the booklet entitled "City of Prior ~ke,
Minnesota, Economic Development Authority
Redevelopment Project Plan", dated February 20,
1990.
Passed and adopted this 20th day of February, 1990.
