PRESENTATION-NOVEMBER GENERAL
ELECTION REFERENDUM, RENEE CLARK
FORMER SCHOOL BOARD MEMBER AND LES
SONNABEND, SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENT.
OCTOBER 20, 1997
Dr. Sonnabend and Ms. Clark have requested time on the
City Council agenda to explain the need for and intent of
the bond referendum to be placed before the voters at this
November 4 1997 General Election. I have already shared
a School District information sheet with Councilmembers
on this subject. Last week's Update also included a copy of
a sample ballot which portrays the four referendum
questions. Attached is a resolution which Councilmembers
may wish to consider at the conclusion of the presentation
which expresses support for the School District in its quest
for continuing quality education.
