A single family dwelling is defined as a "fully detached dwelling located on an individual lot and intended for occupancy by a single family." This does not include a building with two dwelling units. A dwelling unit is defined as "one or more rooms physically arranged so as to create an independent housekeeping establishment for occupancy by one family with separate toilets and facilities for cooking and sleeping."
