The Contractor shall be a licensed Moster Electrician of the state in which the job is located. 13. The entire installation shall be performed by a licensed electrical contractor in 0 first-class workmanlike manner. 14. No interruption of building functions or electric service shall be permitted without approval of the Owner. 15. Electrical work shall not interfere with clearances required for general and mechanical construction. Should electrical work be installed which interferes with the work of the other Contractors, such work shall be changed at no additional cost to the Owner. 16. This Contractor to do all cutting and patching required to install any portion of this work. Patch with new materials of the same type that was removed. Refinish patched surface to match existing adjacent surfaces. 17. Grounding shall comply with the Code and requirements of the power company serving. 18. At the completion of the work, this Contractor shall remove all rubbish caused by his work and sholl thoroughly clean all equipment. 19. All work shall be guaranteed free from defects for a period of one year from date of final acceptance. 20. All items of electrical equipment associated with the control of electrical apparatus shall be identified. J-boxes above ceiling to have stencil. 21. Nominal mounting height of devices in exposed concrete block, tile or brick walls shall all occur within a structural course. A minimum amount of block. tile or brick walls shall be cut. 22. All electrical equipment shall be Specification Grade and UL approved unless specified otherwise. 23. Minimum size of outlet boxes shall be 4 U trade. 24. All conductors shall be copper. BOOV- THW, THHN, THWN OR XHHW #12 minimum size. Aluminum wire shall not be permitted. 25. All electrical wiring must be in conduit (No Romex, ex, etc.. is permitted). 26. No conduits to be run in ductwork. A # 18 gauge steel pull wire shall be installed in all empty conduits. 27. All conduits through roof shall penetrate roof using proper approved roof flashing. 28. Flexible conduit can only be used for short final connections to interior lighting fixtures, transformers. motors. etc. 29. All electrical equipment and conduit exposed to weather shall be weatherproof. 30. Fuses shall be Bussmann ''low-Peak'' dual element, Class RK5. 31. Provide typewritten index cards for all panels.
