HomeMy WebLinkAbout25-177-001-0 (2) Architectural Guidlines & Specifications 1 Scope: The project is to renovate the mechanical system of an existing Wells Fargo Bank Building. The existing structural steel frame system will have to be modified to accept new roof top mounted Air Handling equipment. To reduce tenant disruption the mechanical portion of the work is to be done in phases to maintain operaten of the existing mechanical system during the entire installation of the new mechanical system. The architectural portion of this job is to accomodate the modified mechanical, structural and electrical systems. See Mechanical, Electrical and structural specifications for specific information related to their respective trades. 2 Exterior Pointing: When roof mounted equipment & components are indicated to be use: One coat of exterior grade primer! shop applied is acceptable. Two finish coats of Gloss Alkyd enamal. 3 Interior Pointing: When pointing is necessary in, at. and around new duct shaft enclosures use: One coat of latex based primer. Two finish coats to match adjacent wall finishes. 4 STAIR / CATWALK SYSTEM: GRIP STRUT Plank Grating by McNICHOLS 1-800-237-3820. Use galvanized metal with serrated surfaces for decking and stair treads, or equal pre approved by Architect / Owner. See structural drawings & specifications for sizes. 5 STAIR / CATWALK SYSTEM: Alternate For the alternate wood design, use pressure preservative treated southern yellow pine, SPF, or Hem-Fir, #2 & better gradet contractor to provide the design. Wood alternate is to be pre-approved by the Owner, Submit shop drawings for review for structural steels miscellaneous metalst roof patching, and penetration details for review & prior approval. Submit a paint draw down for approval prior to pointing. :~- ~ Drawing Index ARCHITECTURAL: T1 GENERAL INFORMATION, CONTACTS, BUILDING INDEX A 1 RENOVATION PLANS A2 DEMOLITION PLANS A3 BUILDING SECTIONS, DETAILS STRUCTURAL: 51 STRUCTURAL FLOOR PLANS 52 GENERAL STRUCTURAL NOTES AND DETAILS MECHANICAL: M1 MECHANICAL SYMBOL LISTs ABBREVIATIONS, SHEET INDEX & SPECIFICATIONS M2 MECHANICAL HVAC SHEETMETAL DEMOLITION PLAN M3 MECHANICAL HVAC PIPING DEMOLITION PLAN M4 MECHANICAL HVAC SHEETMETAL REMODELING PLAN M5 MECHANICAL HVAC PIPING REMODELING PLAN M7 MECHANICAL SCHEDULES ELECTRICAL: E1 MECHANICAL SYMBOL LIST, ABBREVIATIONS, SHEET INDEX & SPECIFICATIONS E2 MECHANICAL HVAC SHEETMETAL DEMOLITION PLAN E3 MECHANICAL HVAC PIPING DEMOLITION PLAN E4 MECHANICAL HVAC SHEETMETAL REMODELING PLAN E5 MECHANICAL HVAC PIPING REMODELING PLAN .I ~ :". - ~ Project Code Information \ APPLICABLE CODES Current Edition of the State of Minnesota Building Code 2000 International Building Code 2000 International Fire Code 1991 Uniform Mechanical Code 1997 Uniform Plumbing Code PROJECT DATA Occupancy Class "an-Office Construction Type II B Sprinklered Building As per IBC Table 6.01 non- rated building elements.
