In application for business use of home
1 All Material or equipment shall be stored within an enclosed structure.
2 Operation of the home occupation will not be apparent from the street right-of-way.
3 The activity does not involve warehousing, distribution or resale of merchandise
produced off of the site.
4 The home occupation will be carried on by persons residing in the dwelling unit and
not more than one employee who does not reside in the dwelling.
5 The home occupation will be carried on wholly within the principal structure. Space
within the dwelling devoted to the occupation does not exceed 1 O%of the floor area or
300 Square feet. No portion of the occupation is any detached building.
6 Their will not be any out-side signs.
7 Objectionable noise will not be discernible at the property line.
8 The occupation will not create any excessive automobile traffic within the
neighborhood.

The Planning Department has reviewed your application for Home Occupation Permit.
Based on the information submitted, it appears that you will meet the criteria for granting
a permit. Therefore, this letter serves as your approval to conduct the proposed home
occupation as you have described in the application.
Should you significantly modify your home business or under take in any additional
businesses you must apply for another Home Occupation Permit. If at any time you are
not in compliance with the criteria of Home Occupations, then corrective measures will
be taken by the city to ensure compliance.
