IN REPLY REFER TO:
Case No.: 98-05-3632A
Community: City of Prior Lake,
Scoll County, Minnesota
Community No.: 270432
Map Panel Affected: 0002 C
Map Effective Date: November 19, 1997

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Scheunemann:
We reviewed your request dated April 3, 1998, for a Leller of Map Amendment (LaMA). All required
information for this request was received on May 19, 1998. Using the information submilled and the
effective National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) map, we determined that a portion of the property
described below is located in a Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA), the area that would be inundated by the
nood having a I-percent chance of being equaled or exceeded in any given year (base nood); however, the
residential structure on the property is not in the SFHA.
Property Description:
Lots 17, 41, 42, and portions of Lots 18, and 43, Boudin's Manor,
as described and recorded in Warranty Deed, Document No.
336148, filed in the Scoll County Recorder's Office on May 18,
1994
Street Address:
14375 Watersedge Trail N.E.
Flooding Source:
Prior Lake
This leller amends the above-referenced NFIP map to remove the residential structure from the SFHA. The
residential structure is now located in Zone X (shaded), an area below the O.2-percent-annual-chance flood
level. Flood insurance coverage for the residential structure may be available under a low-cost policy (see
enclosed document). Because portions of the property remain in the SFHA, any future construction or
substantial improvement on the property remains subject to Federal, State, and local regulations for
noodplain management.
An additional enclosed document provides information about LOMAs. If you have any questions about this
leller, please contact Ms. Helen Cohn of our staff in Washington, D.C., either by telephone at (202) 646-3457
or by facsimile at (202) 646-4596.
Sincerely,
