II. APPROVE MINUTES OF THE MAY 18, 1994 MEETING
III. PIKE LAKE PETITION UPDATE
An update of the Pike Lake petition will be provided. A water skiier had a permit
from Scott County for a slalom course on Pike Lake. Scott County Sheriff John
Grover has since revoked the permit and directed the skiier to practice at McMahon
Lake in Spring Lake Township. The Pike Lake petitioner, Chuck Pavlish, will attend
the July 20th LAC meeting for further discussion.
IV. WORK PROGRAM FOR WATER RESOURCES COORDINATOR
Water Resources Coordinator, Lani Leichty, will provide the Committee with his
proposed Work Plan schedule for the remainder of 1994.
V. SURFACE WATER ORDINANCE
Council has adopted the Ordinance and signs were placed June 10, 1994. The
County Sheriffs Department began enforcement on June 11, 1994.
VI. STORM WATER MANAGEMENT PlAN
Staff will provide a status report of the Storm Water Management Plan. Staff met
the Consulting Engineers Maier Stewart & Associates to see what additional
information was needed from the City to complete the contract portion of the plan.
VII. PRIOR LAKE PUBLIC ACCESSES
Staff is working on identifying the current ownership of all accesses to Prior Lake.

VIII. PRIOR LAKE OUTLET UPDATE
The District has notified the Cities of Shakopee and Prior Lake that beginning on
June 9, 1994, it will open the outlet gates to discharge approximately 15 cfs. The
District Engineer predicted that with recent rainfall the lake would not have
sufficient storage capacity for a 10 year storm.
IX. EURASIAN MILFOIL UPDATE
The District plans on treating 30 acres for Eruasian milfoil the week of June 20th.
The DNR permit is limited to 70 acres of treatment, but the District could reapply
for more. Treatment is still scheduled to be [mished by the July 4th weekend.
