Chad, In an effort to understand the type of work and processes of the tenant occupants in your proposed
building, the following are questions that I have regarding the materials operation of Above All Hazdwood
Floors, Above All Distribution and Springer Exteriors:
Above All Hardwood Floors and Above All Distribution
1. On the wazehouse layout plan sheet A10 by Dave Linner, are the 4'x8' rectangular shapes units of
bundled wood and that are stacked 12' high? Are they stored on racks?
2. How and by what means are the wood units unloaded off of delivery trucks, brought into the warehouse
and stacked?
3. Is there any finishing/sanding of materials in the warehouse? If so what and where are the materials
finished?
4. List the quantities, locations of storage, and what type and sizes of containers for the foilowing products
which MSDS information were provide:
Bona X sealer
Imperial leak finding dye
Ace mineral spirits
Syntko lacyuers
Last-n-Last polyurethane wood finish
Titebond glue
Dap adhesives
5. Provide the MSDS information for the Ace mineral spirits and Last-n-Last polyurethane wood finishes.
They were not included in the information supplied.
6. Is there any motorized vehicle storage such as delivery trucks in the warehouse? If so, what are the fuels
and number of vehicles?
Springer Exteriors
1. Provide a warehouse racking plan for Springer Exteriors. Include locations and stacked height of
materials.
2. How and by what means is the siding and shingle units unloaded off of delivery trucks, brought into the
warehouse and stacked? Are they stored on racks?
3. Is there any nishing of materials in the warehouse? If so what and where are the materials finished?
4. List the quantities, locations of storage, and what type and sizes of containers for the following products
which MSDS information were provide:
10/9/2007
Henkel sealant
Geocel sealant
GAF shingles
GAF Weather watch
GAF Felt
5. Is there any motorized vehicle storage such as delivery trucks or forklifts in the warehouse? If so, what
are the fuels and number of vehicles?
These questions aze based on information dated September 18, 2007. The information for Performance
Construction is acceptable. Similar information for the Pro Service Autobody shop tenant is required. The above
information is required for before the tenant finish permits can be issued. After the information is supplied,
additional requirements to meet the Building Code may be necessary, such as ventilation or firewalls, etc. Call if
there are any questions.

Hello Robert,
Chad forwarded the missing information your are looking for regarding our new building. The quantiry of the
Synteko polyurethane that we keep on hand changes a bit. Currently we have 55 gallons of Synteko product ( 5
gallon containers ).
As for the NFPA information that was not included in the MSDS sheet for the Last & Last product. I have called
my distributor and requested the NFPA information. I will forward it to you as soon as I receive it.
For my information, What is NFPA?
Thanks,

Subject: RE: LeMair Building
Chad, Thanks for the information, is there a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for the Last and Last polyurethane wood
finish product? The info supplied for that product is a technical data sheet and does not contain the NFPA ratings as the
other MSDS for the other products that were submitted. Also the Syntko lacquer quantities need to be stated. All of the
other products are well within the limits of allowable flammable and combustible amounts allowed by the Fire Code.
If no other vehicles enter and are stored in the warehouse space other than the propane forklift, when the HVAC system is
designed for the space, a small portion of the floor area will need to be designed to exhaust the propane exhaust. Typically
a CO2 detector is utilized for mechanical activation of the exhausted air.

ENGTNEERING CONTROLS: Provide sufficient mechanical ventilation (local or
general exhaust) to maintain exposure below PEL and TLV. Vapors are
heavier than air and will collect in low areas. Check all low areas
(basements, sumps, etc.) for vapors before entering.
RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: If 8 hour exposure limit or value is exceeded for
any component, use an approved NIOSH respirator. Consult your safety
equipment supplier and the OSHA regulation, 29 CFR 1910.134 for respirator
requirements. A respiratory protection program that meets OSHA 1910.134 and
ANSI Z88.2 requirements must be followed whenever workplace conditions
warrant a respirators use.
EYE PROTECTION: Goggles or safety glasses with side shields.
SKIN PROTECTION: Solvent impervious gloves.
OTHER PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: Provide eyewash and solvent impervious apron
if body contact may occur.
HYGIENIC PRACTICES: Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse.
