It was agreed that a two-story library would not be feasible unless the space on the second floor was to be used for meeting rooms. There was some discussion concerning the space needed if this was to be a one-story facility. Someone suggested that this could be built on the Kop property; but it was the general consensus that we should focus more on the downtown area for this type of facility. Jeff Oertel will have a conceptual design plan ready for the December 5th Open House at the library. It was also suggested that we would refer to this facility as the Community Resource Center. Referendum Strategy. The next presentation will be held on November 25th with the School Board at the District Office. As many members from both the P.A.C. and the Friends of the Library were encouraged to attend. It was suggested that the presentation be condensed to 5-10 minutes from each group. The representative from the P.A.C. will be Tom Schutz and if he is not able to attend, Ron Ceminsky will be his back-up. Barb Marschall will represent the Friends of the Library. The Parks and Recreation Department will coordinate the calling lists and divide names between the P.A.C. and the Friends of the Library members.
