Approval of meeting Agenda: Motion to approve by Linda, 2nd by Woody; approval unanimous. 4. Approval of meeting minutes: Motion to approve by Linda, 2nd by Woody, approval unanimous 5. No hearings scheduled. 6. Old Business: Chief Elliott advised the group that the school superintendent will attend the March CSAC meeting ( 9 March). Also attending will be the HS Principal, Middle School Principals and Alternate Learning Center principal. The school leadership will be the first item on our agenda. Law enforcement focus is enforcement and prevention of drugs and alcohol. “Choose Not to Use.” Is a program that was rebranded last year (formerly the Meth Task force). It is run by the Scott County Attorney’s office and provides drug resistance education throughout the county in partnership with the schools. One of the programs they use involves the use of Climb Theater to roll play the devastating effects of drug abuse and addiction. 7. New Business Chief Elliott stated CSAC goals with include sharing information with the CTAC. Chief Steinhaus reported the FD now has 46 members, with 10 new recruits. Chief Elliott reported that the annual tip-a-cop event, to benefit Special Olympics, will be held Sunday, 15 January, at the Pointe in Prior Lake. Polar Plunge will be held on Sunday, 18 February, on Upper Prior Lake at Sand Point Beach. 8. Other Business Chief Elliott and Gina Gertner spoke about internet safety and social media issues in the schools. Meeting Adjourned 5:00P, Motion Pat, 2nd Linda. Unanimous
