RESOLUTION 24-137 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ORDERING OF UTILITY TRUCK 8758
Motion By: Burkart Second By: Braid WHEREAS, the 2025 budget includes $60,000 for the replacement of utility truck 8758, with
the cost to be split evenly between the Water Utility and Sewer Utility funds; and WHEREAS, staff has received a quote in the amount of $49,559.18 for this unit, which is a
Ford F150 that will replace a 10-year old F350 with 71,600 miles on it; and WHEREAS, staff anticipate an additional $3,000 - $4,000 in upfitting and accessory costs to be added to the quoted price; and WHEREAS, staff recommend Council approval to order this unit, which will be paid for with budgeted funds in 2025 when the equipment is delivered. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows: 1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein. 2. The Mayor and City Manager hereby authorize staff to place the order for utility truck 8758.
