RESOLUTION 25-024 A RESOLUTION RECEIVING QUOTES AND AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR THE PUMP REHABILITATION AT WELL 6 Motion By: Braid Second By: Lake
WHEREAS, routine maintenance of the city’s production wells is a critical action for providing clean and safe drinking water for the community; and WHEREAS, Well 6 was installed in 2001 and was rehabilitated in 2019; and WHEREAS, staff solicited the following quotes to perform the initial inspection and televising of Well 6: Company Quote Bergerson Caswell $7,450
Traut Companies $9,150
and; WHEREAS, Bergerson Caswell provided an updated quote in a total amount not to exceed
$49,450 to complete the inspection and televising, and to complete the resulting recommended maintenance; and WHEREAS, the 2025 CIP includes $57,500 for this project. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows:
1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein. 2. The Mayor and City Manager are authorized to execute the City standard contract with Bergerson Caswell in an amount not to exceed $49,450 for the Well 6 rehabilitation project. 3. Funding for this project shall come from the CIP fund 601-49400.00-55530.00. Passed and adopted by the Prior Lake City Council this 25th day of Feburary 2025. VOTE Briggs Braid Churchill Lake Hellier
