RESOLUTION 25-029 A RESOLUTION RECEIVING QUOTES AND AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF THE CHEMICAL FEED PUMPS AT THE WATER TREATMENT FACILITY Motion By: Lake Second By: Hellier
WHEREAS, controlling the chemical feed to the water treatment process is critical to providing clean and safe drinking water for the community; and WHEREAS, the current chemical feed pumps are from the original startup of the water treatment facility in 2008; and WHEREAS, staff solicited the following quotes to replace the chemical feed pumps as well as all the plumbing containment skids:

Vessco $58,456
Hawkins, Inc. $68,500 and; WHEREAS, staff recommend executing a contract with Vessco in a total amount not to exceed $58,456 to complete the purchase and installation of the new chemcial feed pumps; and WHEREAS, the Water Utility Fund has adequate funding for this project. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows: 1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein. 2. The Mayor and City Manager are authorized to execute the city standard contract with Vessco in an amount not to exceed $58,456 for the Water Treatment Facility purchase and intallation of the new chemical feed pumps. 3. Funding for this project shall come from the Water Utility fund 601-49400.00-54010.62 and
601-49400.00-54010.63. Passed and adopted by the Prior Lake City Council on this 11th day of March 2025.
