RESOLUTION 25-040 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE AMENDMENTS TO THE DESIGNATED MUNICIPAL STATE AID STREET SYSTEM FOR THE CITY OF PRIOR LAKE Motion By: Hellier Second By: Churchill
WHEREAS, as a requirement to qualify for state aid funding for streets, it is necessary that the Prior Lake City Council (“Council”) designate certain streets within the City of Prior Lake to comprise a Municipal State Aid Street (MSAS) system; and WHEREAS, the Council has reviewed the recommendations of the City Engineer, and has approved the modifications to the City of Prior Lake’s MSAS system. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows:
1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein.
2. The following modifications shall be made to the MSAS system:
Revocation of Credit River Road SE/170th Street (MSAS 132) from Fish Point Road to Eagle Creek Avenue (CSAH 21)
• Segment Length: 0.74 miles
• Reasoning: This route is being revoked so it can be re-designated with updated east
termini at Revere Way Addition of Credit River Road SE (MSAS 132) from Fish Point Road to Revere Way
• Segment Length: 0.79 miles
• Reasoning: Update the east termini to connect MSAS 105 to Revere Way Addition of Revere Way from Adelmann Street to CSAH 21 (Eagle creek Avenue). This segment
was formally Country Road 87 and was recently transferred to the city.
• Segment Length: 0.12 miles
• Reasoning: This is a minor collector route that connects the existing segment of MSAS 132 to CSAH 21
• Coded: This 0.12 miles will be coded as a County Road Turnback in the future Addition of Revere Way from CSAH 21 (Eagle Creek Avenue) to Credit River Road SE
• Segment Length: 0.07 miles
• Reasoning: This is a minor collector route that connects the existing segment of MSAS 134 to CSAH 21
Addition of Five Hawks Avenue and Prior View Street from TH 13 to Duluth Avenue
• Segment Length: 0.60 miles

• Reasoning: This is a minor collector route that connects the existing segment of MSAS 101 to TH 13. This route also connects to Five Hawks Elementary School and multiple
multi-family housing buildings. 3. The City Manager will provide a certified copy of this resolution prior to May 1, 2025, for transmittal to the Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
