RESOLUTION 25-112 A RESOLUTION RECEIVING QUOTES AND AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS PARKING LOT IMPROVEMENTS Motion By: Lake Second By: Hellier
WHEREAS, staff recommend a small improvement project at the Public Works Maintenance Center to add five (5) additional parking spaces behind the security fence to better accommodate all city vehicles stored at this location;
and WHEREAS, staff solicited the following quotes to remove trees, add curb and gutter, and
pave and stripe the new parking area on the south side of the building: Company Quote
Plehal Blacktopping, LLC $29,780
South Suburban Asphalt $33,710
Krueger Excavating $36,600
and; WHEREAS, staff recommend executing a contract with Plehal Blacktopping, LLC in a total
amount not to exceed $29,780 to complete the parking lot improvements at the Public Works Maintenance Center. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows: 1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein. 2. The Mayor and City Manager are authorized to execute the city standard contract with
Plehal Blacktopping, LLC in an amount not to exceed $29,780 for the parking lot improvements at the Public Works Maintenance Center. 3. Funding for this project shall come from the Streets operating fund 101-43100.00-54010.01.
