Special Election Results
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve a resolution canvassing the returns of the City of Prior Lake 2025 special election.
BACKGROUND:
The City Council serves as the canvassing board for city elections. The Council must meet to
canvass the returns and declare the results within three to ten days after the Special Election.
M.S. 205.185, subd.3).
ALTERNATIVES:
1. Motion and second to approve the resolution canvassing the returns of the City of Prior
Lake 2025 Special election.
1. Motion and second to deny approval of this proposed resolution and provide staff with
additional direction.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRIOR LAKE, SCOTT COUNTY
MINNESOTA, that it is hereby found, determined, and declared that the election held in and for said City
on November 4, 2025, was in all respects duly and legally called and held and the returns thereof have
been duly canvassed, and the votes cast at said election for the following question were as follows:
