RESOLUTION 25-155 A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR CONTROL PANEL REPLACEMENT AT WATZL’S LIFT STATION Motion By: Lake Second By: Hellier
WHEREAS, the Watzl’s lift station sustained damage from a fallen tree, which puts the internal electrical components at risk of failure or malfunction; and WHEREAS, Total Control System, Inc. has provided a quote in the amount of $50,380 to provide, install, and program a new lift station panel; and WHEREAS, the League of Minnesota Cities (LMC) has reviewed the incident and determined that it is eligible for insurance coverage above the $25,000 city deductible; and WHEREAS, staff recommend city council award a contract to Total Control Systems, Inc. in the amount of $50,380 to replace the Watzl’s lift station control panel. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows: 1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein.
2. The City Council authorizes a contract with Total Control Systems, Inc. in the amount of $50,380 for control panel replacement at Watzl’s lift station. 3. Funding will come from the Sewer Utility Fund ($25,000) and LMC insurance coverage.
