RESOLUTION 26-033 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A WORK ORDER WITH WSB LLC TO COMPLETE AN INSPECTION AND EVALUATION OF ALL BOARDWALKS Motion By: Braid Second By: Hellier
WHEREAS, the city has 27 boardwalks totaling one mile in length; and WHEREAS, these boardwalks are inspected by city staff monthly from March through October; and WHEREAS, several boardwalks have deteriorated to the point of needing major repairs, which require an engineer’s evaluation to determine the best solutions; and WHEREAS, WSB LLC, a member of the city’s consultant pool, has submitted a proposal in the amount of $39,600 to complete inspections and provide recommendations based on the results; and
WHEREAS, Staff recommend approving a work order with WSB LLC to complete the boardwalk inspection and evaluation of all city boardwalks. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows:
1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein. 2. The City Council approves a work order with WSB LLC in the amount of $39,600 to complete the inspection and evaluation of all city boardwalks. 3. The cost for this work order will be paid from the contracted street maintenance account 101-43100.00-54010.01. Passed and adopted by the Prior Lake City Council this 10th day of March 2026.
