RESOLUTION 26-034 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A WORK ORDER WITH WSB LLC TO PROVIDE GENERAL ENGINEERING SERVICES Motion By: Braid Second By: Hellier
WHEREAS, WSB LLC (WSB), a member of the city’s consultant pool, has been providing general engineering services and support to the city for the past several years; and WHEREAS, this work primarily includes development project review, permit application review, and other administrative activities in support of the full-time staff; and WHEREAS, WSB has submitted a proposal to continue this general engineering support for approximately 8-16 hours per week at a rate of $215/hour for up to 12 weeks while the current Assistant City Engineer is out on Family Leave, anticipated to begin in late March and extend through the end of May 2026.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows:
1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein. 2. The City Council approves a work order with WSB LLC, estimated to range from $21,000 to
$45,000, to continue to provide general engineering services during the temporary leave of the Assistant City Engineer. 3. The 2026 operating budget includes sufficient funding for Professional Engineering Services in the Engineering, Streets, Water Utility and Sewer Utility funds.
