RESOLUTION 26-043 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR THE NORTHWOOD ROAD AREA PHASE 1 PROJECT (2026-01) Motion By: Braid Second By: Churchill
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Northwood Road Area Phase 1 Project, which includes reclamation, bituminous curb, watermain, sanitary main, storm sewer improvements, turf restoration and appurtenant work; and WHEREAS, bids were received, opened, and tabulated according to law; and WHEREAS, the following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

Ryan Contracting Co. $6,675,705.27
McNamara Contracting $6,929,951.42
Northwest $7,942,587.92
Valley Paving, Inc. $8,205,217.50
and WHEREAS, Ryan Contracting Co. of Elko New Market, MN is the lowest responsible bidder. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows:
1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein.
2. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to enter into the City’s standard contract with Ryan Contracting Co. in the name of the City of Prior Lake for the Northwood Road Area Phase 1 Project in the amount of $6,675,705.27.
3. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to return to all bidders the deposits that
accompanied their respective bids. 4. The City Council authorizes the following funding for this project:
