RESOLUTION 26-059 A RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR THE LAKE THIELEN OUTLET REPLACEMENT PROJECT (2026-14) Motion By: Lake Second By: Braid
WHEREAS, the city received plans and specifications for the Lake Thielen Outlet Replacement Project (2026-14), and quotes were requested on March 9, 2026 with quotes due on March 27, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.; and WHEREAS, the following quotes were received, opened, and tabulated according to law:

Krueger Excavating, Inc. $75,750 Minger Construction Companies, Inc. $79,391 and WHEREAS, the city’s consulting engineer, WSB LLC has provided a recommendation letter to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder, Krueger Excavating, Inc. in the amount of $75,750.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows: 1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein.
2. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to execute a contract with Krueger Excavating Inc. in the amount of $75,750.
3. The total cost for this project is $93,150 (including overhead) and will be funded from the Stormwater Utility Fund. Passed and adopted by the Prior Lake City Council this 14th day of April 2026. VOTE Briggs Braid Churchill Lake Hellier Aye ☒ ☒ ☒ ☒ ☒
