CALL TO ORDER Mayor Briggs called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Present were Councilors Braid, Churchill, Lake and Hellier. Absent: None. Also were City Manager Wedel, Police Chief Duggan, Fire Chief Steinhaus and City Clerk Simon in attendance. 2. PUBLIC FORUM Gary Pearson: Living in Prior Lake since October of 1987. Owns creek in Prior Lake. Came home this past winter, and the city took everything out while I was out of town. Lots of damage to trees. 24 trees with emerald ash board, city cut seven on the other side near power lines. Came in prior to this incident on CR12 and wiped-out neighbor’s yards. Received notice from Dale to clean up the brush and mess the city left was a lot. If I use fertilizer or any weed poison on my lawn it will run through the creek into Prior Lake. City went beyond 10-foot easements. Will city replant since this is private property? Ryan O’Keefe, Jeffers Pond Development: Few years back we had all of our roads repaired with an assessment for each home in the neighborhood to pay for it. With the snow melted, these brand- new roads are already a mess. Not even 2 years on these roads we paid for that are already break- ing apart. What is the warranty on these roads? All roads through the Wilds neighborhood are breaking apart. Expressed how upsetting this whole project has been. Wedel: Response to Mr. Pearson; don’t have the specific background on this project but will con- nect with City Staff to gain more information on this project I will get back to you on that. Response to Mr. O’Keefe; Familiar with the cracking as I live within the project area. With mill and overlay we do expect some cracking because we only replaced the top few inches. We did a Texas under seal or a seal coat to try to minimize the cracking. Schedule a few years after each mill and overlay project a crack seal and seal coat to help lengthen the life of the road in a cost-efficient manner. Will review the current status of Enclave Court to ensure the damage isn’t larger than cracks. 3. APPROVAL OF AGENDA MOTION BY BRAID SECOND BY CHURCHILL, TO APPROVING THE AGENDA AS PRE- SENTED.
