HomeMy WebLinkAbout26-080 Approving the Combined Preliminiary and Final Plat for Marlow Ridge 1 4646 Dakota Street SE Prior Lake, MN 55372 RESOLUTION 26-080 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE COMBINED PRELIMINARY AND FINAL PLAT FOR MARLOW RIDGE Motion By: Lake Second By: Churchill WHEREAS, WHEREAS, Pulte Homes of Minnesota LLC (the “Developer”) and Vierling Family Limited Partnership (the “Property Owner”) have requested approval of a Combined Preliminary and Final Plat to be known as Marlow Ridge legally described as: See attached Exhibit A (PIDs 259260010 & 253630040); and the Prior Lake Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on May 4, 2026, to consider the request for Combined Preliminary and Final Plat for Marlow Ridge; and WHEREAS, Notice of the public hearing on said Combined Preliminary and Final Plat was duly published and mailed in accordance with the applicable Prior Lake Ordinances; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission heard all persons interested in the Combined Preliminary and Final Plat at the public hearing, and the Planning Commission recommended the City Council approve the Combined Preliminary and Final Plat for Marlow Ridge on a 5-0 vote subject to certain conditions; and WHEREAS, the City Council considered the Planning Commission’s recommendation and applicant’s request for approval of a Combined Preliminary and Final Plat for Marlow Ridge on June 9, 2026, and found it met the requirements of Subsections 9-34, 9-66 and 9-67 of the Prior Lake Subdivision Code; and WHEREAS, the City Council approved the Combined Preliminary and Final Plat and Development Agreement for Marlow Ridge on June 9, 2026. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA as follows: 1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein. 2. The City Council approves the Final Plat of Marlow Ridge subject to the following conditions: a) The City Attorney plat examination signature on the final plat is not required and shall be removed. b) Future phases of development and final plats of the Outlots shall not be approved until the applicant and Prior Lake Spring Lake Watershed District reach agreement on the required conservation easements over the wetlands and buffer areas. 2 c) The Developer shall record the Final Plat within ninety (90) days after approval of this plat.
