AGENDA ITEM: Approval of the 2026 Refuse Hauler License Renewals
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the issuance of a 2026 Refuse Hauler License to the establishments listed below.
BACKGROUND:
Prior Lake City Code provides that the City Council must approve the renewal of all refuse
hauler licenses. All licenses expire on June 30 of each year and must be renewed annually.
The following establishments have completed an application and submitted payment to renew
their refuse hauler license:

FINANCIAL IMPACT:
Refuse hauler fees are based on the number of trucks used to haul refuse in the City. A total of
$6,640.00 has been collected for the refuse hauler license renewals.
ALTERNATIVES:
1. Motion and second as part of the consent agenda to approve the issuance of the refuse
hauler licenses as listed above.
2. Motion and second to remove this item from the consent agenda for further discussion.
