RESOLUTION 26-106
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A TEMPORARY INTOXICATING LIQUOR
LICENSE FOR THE PRIOR LAKE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE’S PRIOR LAKE DAYS
Motion By: Braid Second By: Hellier
WHEREAS, the Prior Lake Chamber of Commerce is planning Prior Lake Days in the public parking lot off
Colorado, on Main Street S and on Colorado Street on Friday and Saturday, August 7 and 8,
2026; and
WHEREAS, State statute allows non-profit organizations to apply for temporary on-sale intoxicating liquor
licenses as a means to raise funds for their organizations; and
WHEREAS, the Prior Lake Chamber is planning to sell wine and beer as part of Prior Lake Days; and
WHEREAS, the Prior Lake Police Department has completed background checks to ensure all temporary
liquor license requirements have been met.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PRIOR LAKE,
MINNESOTA as follows:
1. The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein.
2. A temporary on-sale liquor license is granted to the Prior Lake Chamber for Prior Lake Days on Main
Street and Erie.
3. This license shall be valid on August 7 and 8, 2026.
4. All liquor servers shall receive training prior to the event.
5. The Prior Lake Chamber shall provide proof of liquor liability insurance as prescribed by M.S. Section
340A.409 to cover this event.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 28th DAY OF July, 2026.
