CITY OF PRIOR LAKE
ORDINANCE NO. 03.13
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 806 OF THE PRIOR LAKE CITY CODE
DEFINING MORE THAN THREE FALSE ALARMS AS A PUBLIC NUISANCES,
AND AMENDING SECTION 605 TO AUTHORIZE COLLECTION OF UNPAID FALSE
ALARM PENALTIES THROUGH SPECIAL ASSESSMENT.
The City Council of the City of Prior Lake does hereby ordain that:
1. Section 605.200 of the Prior Lake City Code is hereby amended to add the following:
(4) Failure to promptly pay any and all false alarm penalties as defined in Section 806.300 of the
Prior Lake City Code.
2. Section 806.300 of the Prior Lake City Code is hereby amended to add:
806.301 Collection of False Alarm Penalties: If an alarm user fails to make payments prescribed
herein, the City may, after notice, specially assess the penalties against the property
pursuant to Minnesota Statutes and Section 605.800 of the Prior Lake City Code.
This ordinance shall become effective from and after its passage and publication.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Prior Lake this 2151 day of July, 2003.
