CITY OF PRIOR LAKE
ORDINANCE NO. 02.18
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 705.901 OF THE
PRIOR LAKE CITY CODE TO INCREASE THE SEWER BILLING RATE BY
FIFTEEN CENTS FOR EVERY 1000 GALLONS OF WATER
Whereas,
the City of Pnor Lake reviews its sewer and water biiling rate structure on an annual basis; and
Whereas,
the City has affirmed it is financially necessary to increase the existing sewer rate to generate sufficient sewer
revenues to offset current operating and capital expenses; and
Whereas,
the City Councii has reviewed and approved the financiai justification in support of increasing the sewer biliing
charge by fifteen cents to $3.00 per 1000 galions of water consumed.
Now Therefore, the City Council of the City Councii Prior Lake does hereby ordain that:
1. Section 705.901, sentence one of the pnor Lake City Code is hereby amended as set forth below:
705.901: Rates: Effective February 1, 2003 biiling cycle, a billing charge of three dollars ($3.00) per one thousand
(1000) gallons of water consumed shall be charged.
This ordinance shall become effective upon its passage and publication.
Passed by the City Council of the City of pnor Lake on November 18, 2002.
