ORDINANCE NO. 84 -
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PRIOR LAKE CITY CODE SECTION 5- 6--•2.
The Council of the City of Prior Lake does hereby ordain:
Section 5 -6 -2 of the Prior Lake City Code shall be amended,to
read as follows:
5 -6 -2 CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY: An application for a Certi
ficate of Occupancy .shall be accompanied by a plat
plan.showing the location, dimension and such other
information as is required by the Zoning Officer to- i
gether with a fee as determined annually by the City ;
,Council. A Certificate of Occupancy shall be obtained
before any person may: +
(A) Occupy or use any vacant land; or
(g) Occupy or use any structure hereafter constructed,,
reconstructed, moved, altered or enlarged;

(C) Change the use of a structure or land to a differ --
' ent use;
(D) Change a non- conforming use.
The Zoning Officer shall have the authority to deny
- the issuance of the Certificate of Occupancy if the
subject property does not pass the building inspection
and /or may condition the granting of the Certificate,
Of Occupancy upon such terms and conditions as the '
Zoning Officer deems, necessary to comply with the build-
ing inspection report, including but not limited to
payment of a fee, for deposit with the Zoning Officer
to cover the estimated costs for curing any'defici
cies,, including road and area cleanup.
This ordinance shall become effective from and after its passage
and publication.
