ORDINANCE NO. ` 85--6
AN ORDINANCE C HRMING THE LENGTH OF THE MAYOR'S TEAM OF OFFICE,-
The Council of the City of Prior Lake does hereby ordain:
The term of Mayor of the City of Prior Lake shall be four
(4) years oommencing with the January 1, 1986 term of office.
This ordinance shall become eff ve from and after its
passage and publication, provided that it is adopter] at least
four (4) weeks before the closing date for the filing of
affidavits of candidacy for such election. In the evetit it is
not adopted at least four (4) weeks before the closing date for
the filing of affidavits of candidacy for such election, it shall
become effecti,Ve .for the next succeeding term of office of Mayor.
