"ORDINANCE NO. 87 -03 AND PRIOR LARE CITY CODE
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING
TITLE 9, CHAPTER 5.
The Council of the City or Prior Lake doss hereby ordain:
Ordinance No. 87 -03 and Prior Lake City Code Section 9 -5 -5 (B) are
hereby amended to read as follows:
(B) A connection foe of three hundred fifty dollars ($350 shall
be charged per unit connected subject to an adjus tment as
determined by the City Council One -half (1 /2)) of the foes
collected as unit connection charges under this subdivision
` shall be 'applied towards the maintenance building,`
construction, reconstruction, repair, enlargement or
ni
improvement of the mucippaal system. The municipal system 1,
shall mean waterworks systems, including.mains, valves,
hydrants, service connections, wells, pumps, reservoirs,
tanks, treatment plants, and other appurtenances of a
waterworks system, sewer systems sewage treatment works,
disposal sysums, and other tacf.fities for disposing of
p sewage, industrial wastes, or other wastes, and storm sever
systems, including mains, holding areas and ponds, and other
appurtenances and related facilities for the collection and
disposal of storm water. The remaining one -half (1 /2) shall be
placed in the Salver and )eater Fund as revenue to offset
operational expenses.
This ordinance shall become effective lrom'and after its passage and
publication.
