CITY OF PRIOR LAKE
ORDINANCE NO. 96-26
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5-2-1 OF PRIOR LAKE CITY CODE AND
AMENDING SECTION 2.1 OF PRIOR LAKE ZONING ORDINANCE 83-6.
The City Council of the City of Prior Lake does hereby ordain:
The Prior Lake Zoning map, referred to in Prior Lake City Code Section 5-2-1 and Prior Lake Zoning
Ordinance No. 83-6 Section 2.1, is hereby amended to change the zoning classification of the
following legally described property from A-I (Agriculture) and C-l (Conservation) to R-l (Suburban
Residential).
LEGAL DESCRIPTION:
That part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 34, Township 115, Range 22, Scott County, Minnesota,
described as follows: Commencing at the southwest comer of said Northeast Quarter; thence on an
assumed bearing of North 01 degrees 07 minutes 25 seconds West along the west line of said
Northeast Quarter, a distance of 1205.38 feet; thence South 72 degrees 49 minutes 00 seconds East, a
distance of 444.81 feet; thence North 84 degrees 32 minutes 58 seconds East, a distance of 60.00 feet;
thence North 80 degrees 52 minutes 06 seconds East, a distance of 253.55 feet; thence easterly and
southeasterly 224.97 feet along a tangential curve, concave to the southwest, radius 150.00 feet,
central angle 85 degrees 55 minutes 51 seconds; thence South 37 degrees 22 minutes 39 seconds
West, a distance of 598.05 feet to the point of beginning; thence North 89 degrees 50 minutes 15
seconds West, a distance of 528.61 feet to a point on said west line distant 532.19 feet north of said
southwest comer of the Southeast Quarter as measured along said west line; thence South 01 degrees
07 minutes 25 seconds East, along said west line, a distance of 532.19 feet to said southwest comer;
thence South 89 degrees 50 minutes 47 seconds East, along the south line of said Northeast Quarter, a
distance of 497.47 feet to the intersection with a line bearing South 02 degrees 13 minutes 49 seconds
West from the point of beginning; thence North 02 degrees 13 minutes 49 seconds East, a distance of
532.40 feet to the point of beginning.

That part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 34, Township 115, Range 22, Scott County, Minnesota
described as follows: Beginning at a point on the west line of said Northeast Quarter a distance of
532.19 feet north of the southwest comer of said Northeast Quarter; thence on an assumed bearing
North 01 degree 07 minutes 25 seconds West along said west line a distance of 673.19 feet; thence
South 72 degrees 49 minutes 00 seconds East a distance of 444.81 feet; thence North 84 degrees 32
minutes 58 seconds East a distance of 60.00 feet; thence North 80 degrees 52 minutes 06 seconds East
a distance of 253.55 feet; thence Easterly and Southeasterly 224.97 feet along a tangential curve,
concave to the southwest, radius 150.00 feet, central angle 85 degrees 55 minutes 51 seconds; thence

central angle 80 degrees 13 minutes 12 seconds to the point of beginning of the land to be described;
thence South 13 degrees 12 minutes 03 seconds East a distance of 276.35 feet; thence Southeasterly
99.87 feet along a tangential curve, concave to the East, radius 785.91 feet, central angle 07 degrees
16 minutes 50 seconds; thence South 20 degrees 28 minutes 53 seconds East a distance of 558.07 feet;
thence Southeasterly 98.91 feet along a tangential curve, concave to the West, radius 274.53 feet,
central angle 20 degrees 38 minutes 38 seconds; thence South 00 degrees 09 minutes 45 seconds West
a distance of25.00 feet to a point on the south line of said Northeast Quarter a distance of 128.00 feet
west of the southeast corner of the Southwest Quarter of said Northeast Quarter; thence North 89
degrees 50 minutes 15 seconds West along said south line a distance of 688.35 feet to a point 497.47
feet east of the southwest corner of said Northeast Quarter; thence North 02 degrees 35 minutes 46
seconds East a distance of 537.28 feet to a point 536.79 feet North of the south line of said Northeast
Quarter and 532.20 feet East of the west line of said Northeast Quarter; thence North 37 degrees 22
minutes 39 seconds East a distance of 592.10 feet to the point of beginning.
This ordinance shall become effective from and after its passage and publication.
