LAKES ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES
November 19, 2013
CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 4:30 pm. Present were LAC Vice-Chair Jasan, LAC members
Rech, Streefland, and Weninger, City Water Resources Engineer Young, and City Council Member
McGuire.
OLD BUSINESS
Community Outreach Opportunities
Water Resources Engineer Young presented the agenda report. In addition to the listed items,
other opportunities including Fall Community Fest and Lakefront Days were noted. Presentation
item only, no votes were taken.
Final Review of Proposed Updated Bylaws
Water Resources Engineer Young presented the agenda report.
MOTION BY JASAN, SECONDED BY WENINGER, TO RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE UPDATED
BYLAWS AS WRITTEN.
VOTE: Ayes by Jasan, Rech, Weninger, and Streefland. The motion carried.
MS4 SWPPP Rewrite
Water Resources Engineer Young presented the agenda report.
MOTION BY WENINGER, SECONDED BY RECH, TO APPROVE THE DRAFT CITY OF PRIOR LAKE
SWPPP DOCUMENT AS WRITTEN.
VOTE: Ayes by Jasan, Rech, Weninger, and Streefland. The motion carried.
Annual Advisory Committee Report to the City Council
Water Resources Engineer Young presented the agenda report. Member Weninger suggested a
minor revision which will be incorporated into the presentation.
MOTION BY WENINGER, SECONDED BY JASAN, TO APPROVE THE PRESENTATION ITEMS FOR THE
ANNUAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE REPORT AS REVISED.
VOTE: Ayes by Jasan, Rech, Weninger, and Streefland. The motion carried.
OTHER BUSINESS
No Other Business items were brought before the LAC.
STAFF UPDATE
City Planning Commission Update
Water Resources Engineer Young presented the agenda report. City Council Member McGuire
provided an update on the marina ordinance. Presentation item only, no votes were taken.
MS4 Education and Outreach Program Update
Water Resources Engineer Young presented the agenda report. Presentation item only, no votes
were taken.
NEW BUSINESS
2014 LAC Meeting Schedule
Water Resources Engineer Young presented the agenda report including the draft meeting and
workshop schedule for 2014. Presentation item only, no votes were taken.

ADJOURNMENT
A motion to adjourn was made by Member Streefland and seconded by Member Rech. With all
in favor, the meeting adjourned at 6:15 pm.
