HomeMy WebLinkAbout116-16 Temporary Dwellings Ord 4646 Dakota Street SE Prior Lake, MN 55372 CITY OF PRIOR LAKE ORDINANCE NO. 116-16 AN ORDINANCE OPTING-OUT OF THE REQUIREMENTS OF MINNESOTA STATUTES, SECTION 462.3593 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PRIOR LAKE, MINNESOTA, ORDAINS: 1. On May 12, 2016, Governor Dayton signed into law the creation and regulation of temporary family health care dwellings, codified at Minnesota Statutes 462.3593, which permit and regulate temporary family health care dwellings. 2. Subdivision 9 of Minnesota Statutes 462.3593 allows cities to “opt out” of those regulations. 3. Pursuant to authority granted by Minnesota Statutes, Section 462.3593, subdivision 9, the City of Prior Lake opts-out of the requirements of Minnesota Statutes 462.3593, which defines and regulates Temporary Family Health Care Dwellings. This ordinance shall become effective from and after its passage and publication. Passed by the City Council of the City of Prior Lake this 8th day of August, 2016.
