CITY OF PRIOR LAKE
ORDINANCE NO. 117-04
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE PART 3, SECTION 316 RELATING TO COMMUNITY EVENTS
AND ADOPTING BY REFERENCE CITY CODE SECTION 104, WHICH AMONG OTHER THINGS
CONTAINS PENALTY PROVISIONS.
The City Council of the City of Prior Lake, Minnesota ordains:
1. City Code Section 316.400, provision 316.401 is amended by inserting the following sentence at the end of
the provision: “The application fee shall be waived for Group I and Group II events.”
2. City Code Section 316.400, provision 316.402 is deleted in its entirety and replaced with the following:
316.402 Athletic Tournament Fee: For each athletic tournament, an athletic tournament fee in
the amount of $300 per tournament shall be submitted to the City after the event
permit has been approved but prior to its issuance.
3. City Code Section 316.400, provision 316.403 is amended by inserting the following sentence at the end of
the provision: “Co-sponsors of Group I events shall pay a percentage of the costs, as determined by the City
Manager in his/her sole discretion, proportionate to the level of s ponsorship.”
4. City Code Section 316.400 is amended by deleting provision 316.405 in its entirety.
5. City Code Section 104 entitled “General Penalty” is adopted in its entirety by reference, as though repeated
verbatim.
6. This Ordinance shall become effective from and after its passage and publication.
