24.1 - South Shore Drive Area
•1997 residents petitioned for annexation due to failing septic
•1998 Cooperative Sewer & Water Maint. Agreement between
City of PL and SL Township
•Extend City sewer and water to South Shore Dr. to resolve
environmental concerns due to failing septic systems
•2024 Annexation to City of PL – must be entire area
24.2 - Vergus Avenue Area
•2003 Cooperative Sewer & Water Maint. Agreement between
City of PL and SL Township
•Extend City sewer and water from South Shore Dr. to Vergus
Ave. to resolve environmental concerns due to failing septic
systems
•Annexation to City of PL – 20-year bond payment (2024) –
must be entire area
