I. Selection of Cora B. McQuestion Spirit of Prior Lake Award Winner
The City received ten nominations for the 2023 Spirit of Prior Lake award. At the September 21,
2023 CEC meeting, members of the committee reviewed the applications (each application was
given a letter A-J). At 4:40pm, each committee member was given a yellow post-it note to write
down the name or corresponding letter for the nominee they selected for the award.
Kathy Dawson (assigned letter A) received 10 of the 13 votes for the award and was thereby
selected as the 2023 award recipient. Nominees assigned letters C, F, and J received one vote
each.
