CITY OF PRIOR LAKE
ORDINANCE NO. 89-12
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PRIOR LAKE CITY CODE SECTION 11-1-3.
The Council of the City of Prior Lake does hereby ordain:
I.
Prior Lake City Code Section 1l-l-3-3(S) is hereby repealed.
II.
A new Section 11-1-3-4 is hereby added to Prior Lake City Code
to read as follows:

SNOW EMERGENCY REGULATIONS
In order to expedite the prompt and efficient removal
of snow from the streets of the City, it is unlawful
for any person to stop, stand or park any vehicle or
permit it to stand on any public street within the City
between the hours of two o'clock (2:00) A.M. and six
o'clock (6:00) A.M. after a continuous or intermittent
snowfall during which there has been an accumulation of
two (2) inches or more of snow on any street, and until
the snow has been plowed or removed to the full width
of the street.
Any motor vehicles parked in violation of this section
may be towed pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section
169.041.
A violation of this section shall be a petty
misdemeanor punishable by a fine of twenty-five dollars
($25.00).
III.
The present Section 11-1-3-4, Parking of Commercial Vehicles, is
hereby renumbered as Section ll-1-3-5; the present Section
11-1-3-5, House Trailers, Parking for Camping Purposes, is
hereby renumbered as Section 11-1-3-6; the present Section
ll-1-3-6, All Night Parking, is hereby renumbered as Section
11-1-3-7; and the present Section 11-1-3-7, Violation, Penalty,
is hereby renumbered as Section 11-1-3-8.
This ordinance shall become effective from and after its passage
and publication.
