CITY OF PRIOR LAKE
ORDINANCE NO. 88-19
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PRIOR LAKE CITY CODE TITLE 5, CHAPTER 7.
The Council of the City of Prior Lake does hereby ordain:
Title 5, Chapter 7, of Prior Lake City Code is hereby amended as
follows:
Section 5-7-2(A)5 is hereby amended to read as follows:
(A) 5. Election Signs: Political advertising of public
elections are permitted on private property in any zoning
district with the expressed consent of the owner or occupant
of such property. Such signs may not be posted more than
sixty (60) days prior to the election and must be removed by
those responsible for the erection of the sign or the
property owner within seven (7) days following the election.
Such sign must be no larger than sixteen (16) square feet. No
election sign shall be erected in any street or in the
right-of-way of any pUblic road.
section 5-7-5(F) is hereby amended to read as follows:

This ordinance shall become effective from and after its passage and
publication.
